Laško Dark: Cerveces y Flores n' Eslovenia

Al falar de Eslovenia viense a la memoria los nefastos primeros díes de la vergoñosa guerra na Ex-Yugoslavia: la guerra de los 10 días, la autoproclamación d'independencia y la final vitoria eslovena escontra de la unificación con mano de fierro que quiso facese dende Belgrado. Ye verdá que hay que mirar p'alantre y güey Eslovenia  ye un guapu país situáu nes últimes estribaciones de los Alpes que fae frontera con Austria al norte, con Hungría al norteste, Croacia al sur e Italia y el Adriáticu al oeste. Cunta con una rica actividá turística , una ufierta cultural per interesante y una rica gastronomía onde les verdures, los embutidos, la caza, el vinu y la cerveza
alquieren un papel protagonista. Y ye qu'entre tanta naturaleza y tanta vida al llegar el 10 de Xunetu la xente  de Laško cellebren el renomáu Festival de la Cerveza y les Flores. Laško ye una ciodá perfamosa gracies a les agues termales que nutren los sos Spas, a la tradición de la floricultura y a la Laško Brewery, la mayor productora de cerveza del país.

D'esta cervecera pude tastiar Temno Laško, una rica dark lager llena de matices y con un sabor plenu, delicáu amargore y tragu frescu.Prestosísima.

// To talk about Slovenia brought sad memories to my mind. Embarrasing memories of a cruel civil war in the former Yugoslavia that should never be permitted by "our safe Eropean Home". It's true that we should look ahead, straight to the future-but always remembering in order to avoid the mistakes of the past-, and today Slovenia is a beautiful country situated by the Alps sharing borders with Austria to the North, Hungary to the North-East, Croatia to the South and Italy and the Adriatic sea to the West. Tourism is one of the main sources of income. Beatiful high mountains, deep valleys and long rivers together with a wonderful cultural life are some of what the country offers. Of course we don't have to forget the Culinary excellences of Slovenia:Vegetables, sausages, game stews and the excellent wines and beers made a rich and varied Slovenian cuisine. One the highly recommended events in Slovenia is The Beer and Flowers Festival, held in Laško, from the 10th to the 14th of July, every year. Beer, cuisine and flowers come together in an outburst of joy.That beautiful town is famous for its Spa, the flower works and for housing the biggest brewery in the Country: Laško Breweries. From them I could taste the wonderful Temmo Laško. It's a dark lager with a browny ruby colour and a persistent light beige head. Roasted malts, caramels and a touch of hops flowing in the aroma. In mouth you can feel the coffeeish touch of the malts and the light sweetness of pale malts.Subtle herbal hints and a bitter hoppy aftertaste made it a rich and pleasant beer to taste.For a moment I feel myself surrounded by flowers drinking dark lager in the middle of the festival.
